Wall Critterz uses only the finest paints and materials
available. We use Dunn Edwards 100% Acrylic 'SPARTASHEEN' interior/exterior paint.
The 100% Acrylic creates a very hard and durable finish compared to latex paints.
And the water-based 'SPARTASHEEN' is non-blocking and contains no Ethylene Glycol,
which is a harmful solvent found in most paints. Since our designs will probably
end up in your child's room, we chose a safe, kid-friendly paint with a tough, washable,
stain-resistant finish. And if you have some 'amazing' colors in your room that
you haven't found on our designs, we can even send you our products 'unpainted',
so you can paint them yourself to match your room perfectly. Since computer screens
do not always give an accurate representation of the true colors, you may order
paint swatches at the
Dunn Edwards website
to be delivered to your home.

We use two different materials to make our double-layer
products. For the bottom layer, we use a ½ inch 'Medium-Density Fiberboard'
(MDF), which is a material used every day in such products as kitchen cabinets,
furniture, and children's toys. It is guaranteed not to warp, unlike solid wood,
and has a smooth surface that is great for painting. It also cuts very well without
splintering or cracking due to expansion and contraction. The top layer is a ¼
inch Standard Hardboard with a textured side and a smooth side. We often showcase
the textured-side to give our designs a unique look and feel. After all, a dinosaur's
back is not supposed to be 'silky-smooth'!

It might be that you like a particular design but you'd
like it facing the other way. For a nominal charge, we can reverse the image for
you. For instance, our Monster Trucks are all pointing left, although if you were
to buy two of them and wanted them facing each other, then we will do that for you.
Or if you would prefer your design to have another set of colors that we use, we
can help you with that also.

We chose these 'Ring Hangers' not only because they are
strong, but simply because they have the ability to 'swivel'. Thus, you will be
able to hang your Butterfly or Alligator or Killer Whale at different angles. And
we let you easily attach them to the unit so you can hang them how you want.

We include rubber bumpers to keep the unit away from the
wall equally on all sides. The Ring Hangers will bring the unit away from the wall
at the top, so the bumpers are included to be adhered around the bottom edge to
keep a uniform distance from the wall at the top and bottom, thus creating a shadow
effect.
